Everybody is from somewhere. Like most folks at Calvary Church, Janice came from outside the D.C. area; she was born and raised in Upstate New York. She knows the need for people to connect with one another and how difficult that can be. Through Life Groups—Calvary's version of small groups—she helps us interconnect and learn how to 'do life' with each other.

Janice is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. She also has a graduate degree in theology from Northeastern Seminary and is a sought-after speaker at retreats, seminars, and workshops. Most importantly, Janice is married to her high school sweetheart, Alden, and is a loving mother to three beautiful children. In her spare time she thanks God for blessing her with some spare time.
