Jeffrey Scott, Youth & Creativity
jeff@calvary-church.org
Jeff was born in Kansas City, MO, the son of a preacher man. After an early stint in Baltimore, Jeff was replanted in the Hoosier soil of Indiana. It was there he learned to love God, and there he learned to love basketball.
Jeff met his wife, Stephanie, while attending Olivet Nazarene University. Not that she was already his wife when they met. She was not. That would be really weird. I mean if somehow they had already been married and then subsequently met. But they didn’t. I mean, they did meet. But not then. Or, rather, not after they were married, but before.
Why don’t we just say that they met, got married, and everything happened in the right order with no funny business.
Jeff has been a disc jockey, a professional actor, and a television producer. His plays have been staged, his music has been recorded, and when pressed, he can juggle. Through it all, Jeff has tried to live right in God’s sweet spot. Currently that is at Calvary Church where he serves as an associate pastor. Jeff’s energy is devoted to leading the student ministry and regularly inserting himself into other areas of interest as whims arise and opportunities present themselves. Jeff spends whatever time he can spare with his two perfect children: Aidan, born September 11, 2003, and Ashlynn, born exactly 728 days later.
There is a lot of other stuff we could tell you about Jeff, but we are not going to. If you must know more, you are going to need to introduce yourself to him and ask your own questions. Here are a few you won’t have to ask:
