Wesley Peyton, Pastoral Care

Rev. Wesley E. Peyton celebrates 46 years of ministry in 2006. Born into a family of ministers and called to preach at fifteen years of age, he has served in pastoral ministry for the past 28 years. He also has served as Superintendent of the Mid-Atlantic Conference, as well as Conference Evangelist for the North Carolina Conference.
Rev. Peyton authored a book, The Power of Faith, was speaker on the radio broadcast Calvary Calling, and featured in the television ministry of Reality Gospel Church in Alexandria, VA. He has served as a Chaplain at Alexandria Hospital for the past 14 years, and is presently a Chaplain for the Fairfax County Police Department.
Rev. Peyton established a wedding ministry in the Metro area in 1986. He has married over three thousand couples in the last twenty years, and often christens their children as well. His ministry was featured in the Washingtonian magazine in 2003.
Rev. Peyton and his wife, Jeanie, have two children and three grandchildren. In June of 2000, he resigned as pastor to re-enter evangelistic ministry. Rev. Peyton accepted the position as Associate Minister of Calvary Church in 2005, and is currently serving as the Director of Pastor Care.
