What to Expect

Things are different during this season of COVID modifications. Check out our COVID Response and Tickets pages for what's going on right now. However, when Calvary is back to normal, here's what it is like...

You can expect to experience a relaxed, relational, relevant, and mosaic community of faith with friendly people, casual dress, awesome worship, and a transforming message.

Come before 10:30am and enjoy some free coffee and donuts at the Tapestry Café as you find a seat or connect with a new friend.

At Calvary Church, we gather in community once a week on Sundays at 10:30am. The Gathering includes powerful worship and a life-changing message. Our worship leader, along with a talented live band, leads worship in a style relevant to today’s culture. The teaching message is biblically centered and significant. Recent series have been -Isms, You Pick: Psalms, and Discovering Your Story. Gatherings last one hour and thirty minutes. (In addition, we spend time engaging, connecting, and doing ministry with the community of faith throughout the week. Life Groups and serving are the social heartbeat of our church.)

There is an opportunity each time The Gathering meets for individuals to respond to the message. During this time, feel free to take Communion, pray at the altar with a prayer minister, write a note and leave it at the cross, stand and sing, or sit reflectively.  There will also be an opportunity to respond through giving. All donations help us to achieve our mission in our local and global community, however there is no obligation to give. Most services end with a few minutes to reflect with others and discuss a question that applies the morning's teaching to your life. With each of these ways to respond and reflect, the choice to particpate is totally up to you. Our hope is that they will help you Be Known, Know Others, and Know God.

Kids birth-6th grade are welcome to stay with you in The Gathering or attend Discovery Zone. Elementary ministry opens after the initial worship songs. Younger kids can be dropped off in the nursery or preschool rooms at any time during The Gathering. Teens attend The Gathering and are welcome to sit with their families or sit together in Tapestry Café (part of our worship auditorium).
