Celebrating the Gift of Your Child

CHILD DEDICATION

Child Dedication is a special opportunity for parents to publicly commit to raising their child to know, love, and follow Jesus.

We believe parents have a unique and important role in helping their children discover who God is and what it means to follow Him. Child Dedication is a moment for parents to say, “We want to make following Jesus a priority in our family, and we want our church family to walk with us along the way.”

A PROMISE TO YOUR CHILD

When parents dedicate their child, they are making a commitment to:

Seek Jesus together by making faith a part of everyday family life.
Teach and model God's Word as their child grows.
Create a home where faith can grow through prayer, worship, conversations, and serving others.
Point their child toward Jesus, trusting God to draw them into a personal relationship with Him.
Walk with the church family, inviting others to encourage, support, and pray for their family.
“These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:6–7

A COMMITMENT FROM OUR CHURCH

Child Dedication isn't only about what parents promise. It's also an opportunity for our church family to say, “We're with you.”

We want to come alongside parents as they raise their children to know Jesus. We believe children grow best when families and the church work together to create an environment where they can experience God's love, learn His Word, build meaningful relationships, and discover what it means to follow Jesus.

It takes a church family to help a family grow in faith.
