There’s a Place for You to Serve

We believe church isn't something we simply attend—it's something we participate in together.

God has given each of us unique gifts, abilities, and experiences, and there are so many ways to use those gifts to serve others and help Calvary be a place where people can Love God, Love Others, and #LoveNoVA.

From welcoming someone at the door to serving with our kids, helping with worship and tech, providing hospitality, or simply helping behind the scenes, every role matters. When we serve, we aren't just filling a volunteer position—we're creating opportunities for people to experience the love of Jesus.

Find Your Place

We're always looking for people who are willing to jump in and serve as part of the Calvary family. Whether you can serve every week, once a month, or occasionally, there's a place for you.

Some of our serving opportunities include:

  • Calvary Kids

  • Greeting & Hospitality

  • Ushers

  • Security

  • Worship

  • Tech

  • Events & Special Services

  • Facilities & Behind-the-Scenes Support

Not sure where you fit? That's okay! Let us know you're interested, tell us a little about yourself and the areas you're interested in, and we'll help you find a place to serve.

Serving Beyond Our Walls

Serving doesn't stop when we leave the church.

We believe God has called us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community and around the world. Through Calvary Cares, we have opportunities to serve local schools, families, community organizations, and global mission efforts.

If you're looking for ways to serve beyond Calvary and into our community, we'd love for you to explore our Calvary Cares page.

Wherever you serve, our hope is the same: that through our time, gifts, and willingness, people would see the love of Jesus.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms… so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.”
